The Health, Welfare and Labor Office represents the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Ministry of health. It has two broad fields of interest:

1) Health Care and Public Health Issues

2) Welfare, Labor and Employment issues.

This office is responsible for the analysis of health, welfare and labor policies. It maintains ties and develops cooperation with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and its public health agencies (FDA, CDC, NIH...), the US Department of Labor, Workers' unions as well as State and local public authorities and private organizations (Universities, Think Tanks, NGO's...).

This office also publishes a biweekly newsletter «Info-Santé-USA » on health related topics (French only).
